Use it for a fireplace lintel, a thick barn beam, a chunky farmhouse tabletop edge, or a timber-frame header. Heavy stock gives scenes real presence. Distress the surface lightly and stain it dark for an aged, hand-hewn timber look. It also suits a tavern ceiling.
