1/2" x 2" (1:12 scale) — a 24 inch length of 1/2 x 2 stripwood for heavy beams, massive mantels, and structural timbers.

Use it for a fireplace lintel, a main barn beam, a medieval table top, or a heavy workbench. Half-inch thick stock gives convincing weight at 1:12. Distress the surface with a wire brush and stain it dark for a hand-hewn, centuries-old look.
